Consult with your family or treating physician. If you meet the following criteria: breast cancer in your medical history; you are over 40 and have not had a mammogram in the past two years; or you feel or see changes in your breasts - your doctor will examine you and provide an electronic referral for mammography
With the electronic referral, you have the right to choose the medical facility you trust and which meets the NSZU requirements. Or ask your doctor for advice on choosing a medical facility and make an appointment for the procedure at a convenient time for you
After receiving the mammography results, your doctor will determine if further examination is necessary and will develop a further patient management plan
Cystoscopy
Cystoscopy is an examination of the urethra, bladder, and ureteral orifices
Cystoscopy is included in the package of services provided by the National Health Service of Ukraine. Therefore, if you have an electronic referral from a doctor, this procedure will be FREE for you.
How to undergo this examination:
Have an electronic referral, which can be issued by your treating or family doctor
Choose a healthcare facility and go there with the issued referral at a convenient time for you. The patient can choose the facility independently, but the facility must have a contract signed with the National Health Service of Ukraine
Obtain the result of the cystoscopy. Then the doctor decides whether the patient needs further examination and develops their further treatment plan
